The Diploma in Marketing programme through Distance Learning (ODL) and Work-Based Learning (WBL) is designed to provide a comprehensive educational experience relevant to the marketing industry.
In the first two years, students complete their studies through Open and Distance Learning (ODL), where they engage with theoretical coursework via online platforms. This flexible approach allows students to study at their own pace from any location, making it ideal for balancing work or other commitments.
In the third and final year, students transition into Work-Based Learning (WBL), where they apply the knowledge acquired in real-world industry settings. By this point, students are well-equipped with the academic foundation needed to contribute meaningfully to their workplace experience.
This combination of ODL and WBL ensures students graduate with both the comprehensive theoretical understanding and practical skills necessary for a successful marketing career, while also building valuable industry connections.
Students will learn key concepts such as market research, consumer behaviour, digital marketing strategies, and sales techniques.
The program equips them with practical skills in communication, analytics, and strategic planning, preparing them for diverse roles in the dynamic field of marketing.
- Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least credit in THREE subjects; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia Malaysia (STAM) with at least Grade Maqbul; OR
- A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in the related field; OR
- A Certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the related field with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
